For assigning a single babysitter to a booking for a popular event more than 1 month in advance we do things a little differently:

EVENT / EARLY BIRDS – BOOKINGS IN ADVANCE INFORMATION:

  1. We take bookings like this in a queue format, assigning families that want to book a babysitter for the popular day a place in the queue, according to the order we receive the booking request from them.
  2. You still need to pay the usual booking fee (temporarily called a ‘queue holding fee’), to secure your place in the queue, this will transfer to the booking fee 2-4 weeks out from the date of the booking, when we are able to confirm a babysitter for you. This fee is non-refundable, unless we are unable to find a babysitter for you.
  3. Paying the queue holding fee does not guarantee a babysitter will be available, however it does confirm your priority place and it will be refunded to you if we are not able to confirm a babysitter, and you will know with as much notice as possible (2weeks minimum).
  4. Depending on how popular the event is we start matching families 2-4 weeks out from the event. You will definitely have confirmation 2 weeks prior to the event if we have a babysitter assigned to you.
  5. Active Member families will be matched with any familiar babysitters where possible in the first instance (and more likely if they book one month or more in advance of the event), although still relevant to their place in the queue if other member families are ahead of them).
  6. Active Member status does not guarantee a babysitter will be available for you for any event.
  7. For busy events evenings, in the event of unavoidable cancellations of your booked and confirmed babysitter (sickness etc.) we will still (as always), try and find a replacement babysitter for you, but the chances of a replacement babysitter being available is much lower on these occasions, in such circumstances when we are unable to find a replacement the booking fee would be refunded to you, and we would be very sorry for the disruption to your plans, to avoid any disappointment, we recommend you considering a back up plan for such circumstances or where applicable consider purchasing any available insurance for you event tickets, Belle Babysitters Ltd., and it’s babysitters is not liable for any loss incurred due to unavoidable ets.
